Is your fibreglass boat becoming unsafe because it has a
Soft transom? Rotten transom? Weak transom?

You can
REPAIR IT YOURSELF
Fibreglass boat with soft transom

This old girl has seen better days, how-ever with moderate skill, some time and love, you will have her back it tip top condition.

Any moderately capable handyman can repair a failing transom. It will become like new.  The secret is modern boatbuilding materials (Bote-Cote epoxy system) and the instructions in our transom repair book.

FACT:  Almost all fibreglass boats with a transom will eventually suffer transom problems.  Transom strength comes from a thick piece of plywood embedded between the fibreglass covers.  Over time, water penetrates and causes the plywood to decay and rot.  This causes the transom to loose strength, become floppy and even fail dropping the outboard motor into the water or onto the road.
