LuciClear 30 Litre Casting Resin
[LC-CR3000]
I’m tested this product on 2 sphere blank casts. I percoated my timber first to seal it then cast them into molds 75mm square to an average depth of 40mm and max depth (small area) of 75mm. The outside temperature was 26C so I mixed the resin for a few minutes, then added translucent dyes and mixed again, before pouring into the molds and placing in my pressure pot at 60psi overnight. The resin mix seemed to be heating quickly, more than the low exotherm resin I normally use so I got the molds into the pressure pot as soon as possible. The next morning I removed the casts from the pot and they looked good without any bubbles or cracks. The resin looked good and clear (albeit coloured). The resin was hard enough to cut and rough sand to shape then coat it with lacquer to seal and bring out colour. Client was very happy with result
