Gunmetal rowlocks are a delightful addition to any fine rowing craft. This unit is made from polished gunmetal and has a jaw width of 2" (50mm) and a stem diameter of 1/2" (12mm). The screw holes in the socket accept either a 6 gauge or an 8 gauge screw. The main bore of the socket will need a hole drilled through the gunwale of 20mm (25/32") to house it.
Ideally these should be prevented from going overboard by putting a line through the hole in the base of the shaft.
The price quoted is for 1 rowlock and 1 socket. Boats usually require two of each. Additional sockets are available to cater for alternative rowing configurations.
The sockets are separately available if you wish to have alternate rowing positions. please call for details.
