Most backyards have the space to build the 9.1 metre Woodie. You need about 34 feet by 11 feet with about 2 feet of work space around. More interstingly, this boat can be built right side up which allows a lot of the internal fitout to be completed before planking. Briefly, the bulkheads are suspended from a simple frame, or say, the roof joists of a garage.
