Basalt 200gsml Twill Weave 1.0m wide per metre

$21.68

Basalt is a fibre made from igneous rock which is melted and spun in a manner similar to fibre glass.  It has better properties than glass, but is considerably less expensive than carbon fibre. Basalt fibre has superior strength, and maintains that strength ot higher temperatures than does glass.

This is a twill weave which is considerably better than plain weave at curving over complex shapes.  It is more pliable and drapes well over difficult shapes.
