Probably Iain's most popular design. The Tammie Norrie is an effortless, rewarding rowing machine for one or two rowers in tandem. The boat is not as flighty as some of Iain’s specifically rowing designs. Tammie Norrie is also an excellent load carrier, all of which suggests a handy picnic and camping boat and she sails well with any of the range of rigs offered in the plans.
Tammie Norrie is basically a traditional workboat of medium size; a type which happens to make a particularly useful and attractive recreational boat.
