This is a manganese bronze Dee shackle. It has a Pin Diameter of 10mm, a shackle diameter of 10mm and an approximate breaking strain rating of 2400kg. The opening is about 19mm wide. The sample shackles are marked SWL 12 CWT. We haven't tested this how-ever.
