This is a manganese bronze Dee shackle. It has a Pin Diameter of 6mm, a shackle diameter of 6mm and an approximate breaking strain rating of 1000kg. The opening is about 13mm wide. The sample shackles are marked SWL 5 CWT. We haven't tested this how-ever.
