This is a manganese bronze Dee shackle. It has a Pin Diameter of 5mm, a shackle diameter of 5mm and an approximate breaking strain rating of 600kg. The opening is about 11mm wide. The sample shackles are marked SWL 3 CWT. We haven't tested this how-ever.
