Fibreglass tapes. Woven and double bias

. Woven Glass Fiber Tapes come in widths from 38mm to 150mm and are made from 155gsm plain weave glass fribre, with a selvedge on both sides of the tape. These tapes are often laid along the chine of smaller boats and over the fillet on the inside of the chine.

Double Bias Glass Fiber Tape is cut from a full width roll of 420 gsm double bias glass fiber cloth. We stock these in widths from 50mm to 200mm. The double bias tape is often used to provide strength on the join between two panels of plywood, for example along the outside of a chine.
